Myself

I was born and raised in Bangkok, Thailand. Currently working as a UX design manager at OpenText. I am naturally a people-person and interested in helping people and improving their lives. I have earned my master degree in fine art from Academy of Art university in San Francisco and started my career designing websites. During those years of learning, I was exposed to user experience design. Designing something meaningful for users was fun and challenging at the same time. That was when I decided to be a user experience designer.

Throughout my career, I have always been interested in leadership. After many years leading projects as an individual contributor, I officially stepped into UX management role in 2018. My management principle is as simple as trust and respect. I truly believe in my teams’ skills and by giving them the right tools and guidance, they will success. Basically I am enabling them to do their best work and be there for them when a problem raised.

During 15+ years of my career, I have experienced both success and failure. I have worked with many great people and learn many different ways of working. To be successful in software development, the process, planning and collaboration are very crucial. That is why I always encourage the team not only follow the UX process, but also reinforcing it. The process is going to be unique to each company and/or product team but the overarching process remains the same: understand the users and problems, validate concepts, create potential solutions, and test. The process repeats until it achieves the goals.
