Data Provisioning is the ETL tool, which allow user to extract data from variety of data sources. The data then can be used in Magellan BI&R to create visualizations fo analysis. With this tool besides connecting to databases, user also can enhance the data by joining multiple data tables and creating calculated columns. Moreover, user can take advantage of cleaning and modifying capabilities such as filter, aggregation, add, and remove data columns
Responsibilities: As a team lead, I was not only responsible for designing and developing the prototype, but also coordinating and mentoring the team members. My based responsibility for the project from the others, besides wearing interaction designer hat, i also taking on project managing role. The tasks needs to be done on the timing matter so that the implementation can begin. It needed a lot of planning, communicating and coordinating between teams to make this project successful.
Challenges: At the beginning of the project, the team lacked of product management support. The requirement gathering with no clear guidance was very challenging. The first phase of the product has UX/UI issues. My team and I ran usability study and made a lot of design adjustments to the navigation, the design patterns and visual elements.
